Who is responsible

PrivateCSV is operated by Mohammad Auad, France. For any question about this policy or your data, write to contact@privatecsv.com.

The files you process

Files you open with a PrivateCSV tool are processed by your browser on your device. They are not uploaded, transmitted, stored or seen by us or by anyone else, and the results are created on your device as well. We have no copy of your files or of their contents. How it works, and how to verify it.

Information sent when you visit the site

Like every website, the server that delivers PrivateCSV receives technical information with each request: your IP address, the address of the page requested, the date and time, and your browser's user agent. The site runs on a server we rent from OVHcloud in France (see the OVHcloud privacy policy). The web server records these details in access logs, used only to deliver the pages, fix errors and protect the site against abuse and attacks, and deleted after 14 days. We do not use this information to identify you and do not combine it with other data.

Cookies and storage on your device

PrivateCSV sets no cookies. To load faster and keep working offline, the site stores its own code (pages, scripts and icons) in your browser's cache through a service worker. That cache contains no personal data and none of your files. You can delete it at any time by clearing the site data in your browser settings.

Analytics and advertising

The site currently uses no analytics, no advertising and no other third-party tracking. If that changes, this policy will be updated before the change takes effect, and your consent will be requested where the law requires it.

If you email us

When you write to us, we receive your email address and whatever you include in the message. We use it only to reply, keep it no longer than needed for that, and delete it on request. Please do not send confidential files.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, data protection laws such as the GDPR give you the right to:

  • ask what personal data we hold about you and receive a copy;
  • have it corrected or deleted;
  • object to or restrict its processing;
  • complain to your data protection authority.

Because the tools do not collect personal data, in practice we hold only the emails you send us. Write to contact@privatecsv.com to exercise any of these rights.

Children

The site is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect information about them.
